Job Description
As an Information Technology System Administrator at REDLattice, you will be responsible for managing and securing our corporate IT infrastructure, maintaining SCIF security and compliance, and ensuring CMMC 2.0 adherence. You will work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where technical expertise and security best practices are critical to mission success.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows, Linux, and Mac systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Manage and secure Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), network segments, and other data communication systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance.
- Implement and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Administer a hybrid O365 domain, managing integrations between Azure services and a mix of on-premises hardware and virtual environments
- Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users on IT-related issues.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Maintain and monitor corporate security systems and security badging systems.
- Manage and maintain SCIF security systems, including safes, CDX-10 locks, and access controls.
- Ensure compliance with CMMC 2.0 and other cybersecurity requirements.
- Maintain security program documentation in accordance with system security plans (SSP).
- Perform duties as Company ISSM and DTO.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI Clearance.
- Experience with CMMC 2.0 compliance and implementation.
- SCIF management experience, including oversight of security systems and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience (3-5 years).
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Ovirt, and Proxmox.
- Familiarity with NAS technologies.
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, routing, and switching.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Bonus Points
- Experience with Synology NAS products.
- CISSP or Security+ certification.
- Experience with SIEM technologies, particularly AlienVault OSSIM.
