In this role, you'll:

Be working as part of a team delivering high performing architectural solutions to the Group Technology Branch in Cyber Security and Risk. You will ensure alignment with cyber security best practices, risk management frameworks, policy, standards and compliance.
 

As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be providing technical leadership and strategic advice to a wide range of programs and projects across the cluster. You will be involved in various initiatives focused on IT asset sustainability and maintenance, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business needs, security frameworks, threat intelligence and regulatory requirements.

 

 In this role you will provide guidance on the design and implementation of secure coding practices, DevSecOps methodologies, security automation and encryption standards to ensure protection of critical systems. You will also be involved in penetration testing of solutions and security breech responses where required.

 
This is a fixed term full time opportunity until 30/06/2026 with hybrid working arrangements. Your home base is Burwood and office anchor day is Thursday. A further 2 days a weeks can be worked between Macquarie Park or the city.

About you

 

You are a Senior Cyber Security Architect with a passion for Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) and cyber resilience.

 

You thrive in collaborative environments to deliver architectural solutions for complex challenges.

 

You  have demonstrated experience in technical design, security analysis and long-term strategic alignment. Ensuring that security frameworks, policies and roadmaps are effectively implemented. You will also possess the ability to assess, design and integrate security controls across diverse range of technologies.

 

Experience with and securing critical infrastructure & Operational Technologies  is advantageous.
