Salary Statement

Estimated Starting Salary Range: USD $103,550.00/Yr. - USD $172,450.00/Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Description

• Serving as a functional expert for planning, implementing, upgrading, or monitoring security measures for the protection of complex GRFIN communication systems and networks
• Providing advanced knowledge of IA policy or technical cybersecurity solutions necessary to assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure the safe operation of complex GRFIN communication systems and networks
• Overseeing the development of system IA documentation to support certification of compliance to applicable standards including DoDI 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT), Intelligence Community Directive 705, and Intelligence Community Directive 503
• Evaluating emerging cybersecurity technologies for potential integration into multiple enterprise communication systems
• Performing penetration testing, cyber forensics, and system security engineering to develop mitigation strategies that reduce risk for communication systems and networks with a high cyber-attack risk
• Assessing risk to determine the appropriate risk response. Recommended responses may include risk reduction or risk transferal

Requirements

• 7+ years of direct experience as an Information Security Analyst to include:
  • 5+ years of experience performing cybersecurity functions on communication systems or networks
  • 3+ years of experience in numerous cybersecurity technologies/policy organizations or a deep background in cyber technologies such as:
    • Cross Domain Solutions
    • Multi-Level Security (MLS)
    • Host Based Security Systems
    • Identity Management Solutions
    • Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems
    • Computer Hacking Forensics
    • PKI
    • Mobile Device Management
    • Wireless Security Solutions
    • COMSEC
    • Cryptography
    • Other emerging cyber technology solution
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science
• Currently possess one or more of the following professional certifications: CISSP, CySA+, CASP+, PenTest+, CEH, CISM, or CISA
• Demonstrated experience planning, implementing, upgrading, or monitoring security measures for the protection of complex communication systems and networks
• Advanced knowledge of IA policy or technical cybersecurity solutions necessary to assess system vulnerabilities for security risks
• Demonstrated experience proposing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
• Experience overseeing the development of system IA documentation
• Experience performing penetration testing, cyber forensics, and system security engineering
• Possess a current DoD TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
• Excellent verbal and written communication

Desired Skills

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science
• 10+ years of direct experience as an Information Security Analyst for DoD projects or programs
• Direct experience with cybersecurity operations for NAWCAD WOLF
• In-depth knowledge of DoDI 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT), Intelligence Community Directive 705, and Intelligence Community Directive 503

Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL with CI POLY ELIGIBILITY
