Senior Security Operations Engineer

About the role

Are you a proponent of enhancing and supporting the delivery of Security Operations for a global company? This role leverages expertise in Cloud Security and SOC to build, deploy, and monitor services that protect the business. The engineer will lead the design and deployment of real-time reporting and dashboards, oversee the implementation and integration of SOC technologies, and support attack surface management and threat intelligence solutions. We're on the lookout for Senior Security Operations Engineer who will work closely within our technology department to lead and design real-time reporting and dashboards. Based in our Las Vegas office you’ll be securing a company, one technology at a time.

What you’ll be doing

As part of the Cyber Security team, you’ll play a vital role in implementing, testing, integrating and deploying technologies. At all levels, colleagues will rely on your experience with Azure Sentinel and large scale cyber security tools to up-level our global protection. It’s a role with a lot of variety, and day-to-day, you’ll mainly be involved with: 

• Leading the deployment of new Security Operations Center (SOC) technologies and integrations for US markets, ensuring seamless implementation and alignment with global security standards. 

• Develop and implement Security Orchestration, Automation & Response (SOAR) use cases and automation to enhance incident detection, response efficiencies, and overall SOC performance. 

• Conduct breach & attack simulations (BAS) to continuously validate defences, identify vulnerabilities, and improve the organization's security posture. 

• Perform technical review and gap analysis of security cloud infrastructure, and provide hardening, optimisation and capability maximisation to improve Boldyn’s Cyber Maturity 

• Create and maintain Global Cyber Dashboards (e.g PowerBI) to provide real-time visibility into security metrics, threat intelligence, and SOC performance across all Boldyn markets.

• Expertise in Azure Security, cloud architectures, with experience conducting maturity and gap analysis
• Proficiency in developing dashboards and automation to enhance security operations, as well as fluency in the platforms and integrations commonly used
• Experience with detection engineering, threat hunting, incident investigation, and response skills
• Experience leading SOC technology projects (implementations, onboarding, troubleshooting) while aligning to security standards and policies
• Experience with Azure Sentinel, PowerBI, and KQL
