GDIT is looking for a mid-level CMDB ServiceNow Engineer with a focus on their Configuration Management Database (CMDB) expertise, they will be responsible for assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of a ServiceNow CMDB solution. Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and optimal performance. It will be a collaborative role with cross-functional teams to support IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and enhance ServiceNow capabilities across the enterprise. This is onsite role for the USCENTCOM Information Technology Services (CITS) Program supporting the USCENTCOM J6 in Tampa, FL.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for ServiceNow system maintenance, workflow development, bug fixes, enhancements, Design, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accuracy.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective CMDB solutions.
Develop and implement ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping processes to enhance asset visibility and data integrity.
Establish and enforce CMDB governance policies, procedures, and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMDB, Discovery, and associated ServiceNow modules.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
Collaborate on ServiceNow platform upgrades, patches, and performance optimization.
Assist in integrating CMDB with other ITSM processes like Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Provide training and support to internal teams on CMDB usage and best practices.
Additional Responsibilities:
3-5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.
Strong expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
Experience with ITSM processes and their integration with CMDB.
Proficient in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.
Understanding of IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, databases, etc.).
Familiarity with data modeling, normalization, and data integrity concepts.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Desired:
Linux server administration experience
Familiar with MariaDB best practices and administration
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – CMDB.
Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
Knowledge of ITIL v4 principles and practices.
Familiarity with additional ServiceNow modules (ITOM, ITAM, SPM, ATF, etc.).
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in computer science, information systems, and/ or 3 years of relevant experience
Possess 1-3 years' experience as ServiceNow Systems Engineer
Desired - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification and/or ServiceNow Certified System Engineer
ITIL v4 Foundation Certification
Applicable DoD 8140 or DoD 8570 Certification
Clearance Requirement:
Must have an active Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI. ( If you do not have an active DoD Secret clearance, please do not apply!)

The likely salary range for this position is $97,750 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Scheduled Weekly Hours:
