The Product Section Manager needs to build strong relationships with their business stakeholders. Using these relationships, they need to establish a clear understanding of business requirements and priorities and translate this into coherent roadmap to maximize business value based on in-house development or best in market options.
Support and evolution of existing applications within the scope of the said domain is also a critical part of this role and the Product Section Manager will need to ensure that application(s) supporting the business are stable, optimized and business disruption is minimized using existing support agreements. Establishing new / renewing support agreements will also be required and the Product Section Manager will need to use their knowledge of application maintenance to ensure optimal support coverage whilst maximizing value.
Within the AMIEO (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe and Oceania) Information Systems team, you will:
- Evaluate business demands in collaboration with business SME’s.
- Translate business demands into a coherent technical vision and roadmap that can be distilled in projects.
- Oversee the execution of project delivery using a standard methodology
ensuring Quality, Cost and Time metrics are achieved.
- Ensure Risks and Issues are tracked and managed effectively with transparency.
- Deliver the 3 year roadmap of your domain.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders
- Oversee the evolution and support for IS products within your domain.
- Ensure effective delivery of services by vendors within your scope.
- Be responsible for budget and financial management for projects and support services within your scope.
- Support sourcing, of vendors and definition of services to support project delivery and ongoing support.
#Role :
As an IS Product Section Manager you need to establish and maintain strong positive relationships with your business counterparts. Using these relationships and your domain and IS knowledge you will need to understand business requirements and translate these into a coherent technical vision and 3-year roadmap.
Working with your Business Analysts/Project managers you will define and oversee the delivery of projects to realise the agreed roadmap ensuring Quality, Cost and Time KPIs are achieved.

As business partner, you are accountable for the business continuity while the applications are live and to ensure that support services within your scope deliver strong performance, delivering product evolutions and minimizing business disruption.
You report to NE IS R2R Domain Manager.

Background Experience and Education:
Education and Training
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience
Experience
- 10 years of IS/IT experience including managing team(s) in delivery IS products, projects and or support.
Mandatory Required knowledge and skills
- Mandatory solid experience in IS Delivery managing and leading teams
- Strong business knowledge within Finance.
- Good technical knowledge within SAP technologies
- SAP MM/SD & ML ( Material Ledger), experience in managing FI/CO COPC integration is ++
- Experience working on integration between an MES ( Manufacturing execution system) and SAP.
- Familiar with highly distributed system architectures (interfaces)
- Previous Experiences with Logistics, Manufacturing & Finance Integration (design, implementation, and/or support)
- Management of SAP MM, FI/CO integration, and SAP Material Ledger within automotive manufacturing environment (ideally).
- EPM, BI Knowledge is +++
- Solid track of delivering E2E Projects
- Experience of defining IS roadmaps and IS product strategy
- Experience working with and managing vendors
- Budget Management
Needed required knowledge and skills
- Strong understanding of systems development lifecycle and system implementation methodologies
- Demonstrable project management experience and methodologies
- Good verbal and written communications skills; able to address business issues and conflicts in a professional, constructive, and non-technical manner
- Strong cross-functional communication : ability to build effective partnership with business, suppliers and service partners : flexibility, self-reliance, ability to prioritize and negotiate, customer focus and solutions oriented
- Proven leadership ability - in a distributed, cross-functional, multi-cultural environment, and offshore IS Digital hub teams
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple priorities
- Commitment to high standards, integrity and ethics
- Fluent in English, other language would be a plus
- Automotive industry background would be a plus
