Job Description:

It’s an amazing time to join the Everfox team as we continue to change our customers’ lives by directly impacting their missions.  Equality is a foundational concept at Everfox, and we want the best possible leader we can find for our Department of Defense (DoD) Sales Director role. We’re aiming to hire an DoD Director to lead the DoD account executive team, allowing us to grow our footprint by protecting agency’s people and data.

The DoD Sales Director will be responsible for building and driving the Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Special Operations and Joint and National DoD teams to exceed company objectives, grow personally, and give back. The selected candidate must possess a deep and thorough understanding of how to build, motivate, and create a results-oriented, accountable, and winning culture. 

This position reports to the Vice President of Federal Sales for Global Governments, and will be based out of our Herndon, VA office, remote candidates will be considered. 

We offer a systems-oriented approach to Cross-Domain systems, insider risk detection and analytics, cloud-based user and application protection, next-gen network protection, data security and systems visibility. It’s a new approach to cybersecurity that has never been seen before. As technology and users’ needs evolve, we are constantly looking to expand our offerings while staying true to our core in protecting the human point. Our solutions are delivered to customers through multiple sales channels, including security focused Value-Added Resellers, System Integrators, and/or Direct.    

Essential Functions will include: 

  • Accurately forecast and deliver revenue commitments 

  • Highly motivated, driven & results-oriented 

  • Risk taking is expected and desirable 

  • Strong communication & presentation skills 

  • Leadership and management of the DoD Account Executives, including recruitment, skills development, coaching, appraisals and performance management 

  • Grow net new and existing business within the territory  

  • Lead Territory Account Executives in messaging our value proposition to customers based on validated customer-specific needs 

  • Build a personal network of executive relationships within key customers and partners 

  • Drive the business planning process within the region 

  • Ensure all Territory Account Executives are integrated into the process and building their own business plans 

  • Up to 40% flexible travel  

  • Report progress against business plan to VP 

  • Work closely with other internal functions including Inside Sales, Channel, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Support 

Qualifications: 

  • BS technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience 

  • Information Technology or Cyber Security experience preferred, but not required 

  • 5+ years of above quota sales experience, and at least 5 years of Sales Management experience, preferably within the Department of Defense

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:

$309,400.00-472,680.00 USD

The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages. Our talent acquisition team will provide specific information regarding bonus eligibility and benefits offerings.
