What You Will Be Doing

• Implement and manage security tools and processes within the CI/CD pipeline.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure secure software development practices.
• Conduct security assessments and code reviews to identify vulnerabilities.
• Automate security testing and monitoring to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and policies.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents, and respond promptly to mitigate threats.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
• Implement and manage security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS).
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security best practices are followed.
• Perform root cause analysis of security incidents and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Stay informed about the latest security threats and trends.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Atleast 8+ years of work experience in similar field 
• Proven experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience with security tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanners).
• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proven experience in security operations or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of security technologies and tools (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS).
• Experience with incident response and threat hunting.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
