We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Technical Program Manager to lead and oversee our new risk governance program within the engineering division, focusing primarily on Identity and Access Management (IAM). This role requires a strong understanding of risk management principles, IAM best practices, and data analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring IAM-related risks, tracking action plans, identifying anomalies, and managing sub-working groups contributing to the main IAM oversight committee.

How will you fulfill your potential?
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk governance framework for IAM within the engineering division, aligning with overall organizational risk strategy.
- Monitor and analyze IAM-related risks, identifying potential vulnerabilities and threats. This includes proactively identifying abnormalities in access patterns and privileges.
- Track and follow up on action plans to mitigate identified risks, ensuring timely completion and effective remediation.
- Lead and manage sub-working groups focused on specific IAM risk areas, fostering collaboration and communication among stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver regular reports and presentations to the main IAM oversight committee, summarizing risk status, progress on action plans, and emerging trends.
- Utilize data analytics and visualization tools to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in IAM data, providing actionable insights to inform risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and other stakeholders to implement and improve IAM processes and controls.
- Stay current on industry best practices and emerging threats related to IAM and risk management.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of IAM policies and procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s is a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in a technical program management role, with a focus on risk management and/or IAM.
- Proven experience developing and implementing risk governance frameworks.
- Strong understanding of IAM principles, including authentication, authorization, and access control.
- Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Specify tools if applicable to your organization.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Highly organized, attention to detail and excellent follow through skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and driven to manage tasks to completion.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001).
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CISM).
- Experience with specific IAM technologies
- Technical grounding, i.e. prior grounding in application development and / or technology infrastructure.
