As a Senior DevSecOps Consultant, you will utilize modern technologies to build, automate and maintain our IT ecosystem and cloud infrastructure to deliver seamless release support for our business. You as part of a key strategic initiative here at Sovereign Insurance in implementing Guidewire PolicyCenter.
How you will create impact:
- Execute & manage Code Integration & Deployment activities
- Manage & resolve risk that affect release schedule & quality
- Work closely with Developers, QA, Solution Designers, Enterprise IT teams, and Cloud Software
- Vendors to support and strengthen existing build, release & code merge processes
- Utilize and manage tools and processes to automate CI/CD processes to deploy our applications
- Strengthen the DevSecOps practice across Sovereign IT, assess implementation of test-driven development etc.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure open communication, quality/timely deliverables, and team success

To join our team:
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with at least 8+ years of relevant experience in IT industry
- A passion for DevOps/DevSecOps practices and experience with CI/CD and pipeline tools such as TeamCity/Jenkins or similar.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools like Jenkins & TeamCity Strategy, Architecture, Solutions and DevSecOps (SASD)
- Proven experience in Build, Deployment & Release management best practices
- Good understanding of agile principles, test-driven development, change management, and project management tools such as JIRA/Confluence or similar
- Exposure to cloud infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft (Azure)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (Helm), OpenShift and Configuration management tools
- Build Automation scripting experiences like Batch, shell, YMAL, PowerShell, Perl, Python etc.
- Experience with SCM Tools like GIT\Bitbucket\SVN & Artifact repo like JFrog
- Experience in implementing code coverage, code quality tools like JaCoCo\SonarQube\CodeNarc
- Experience with Tools like Splunk & Datadog for monitoring, logging & Alerting
- Positive attitude, self-driven, detail-oriented, analytical, and possesses an eagerness to learn
