We are seeking a Windows Security Architect to help design and implement strategies for securing Windows devices across our organization. This role will involve leveraging various security tools and technologies while collaborating with the enterprise team to ensure the security of operational technology (OT) devices that utilize Windows. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Windows architecture and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Design and Implementation:

  • Develop and implement security strategies for Windows devices, leveraging available security tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with the enterprise team to design security measures for OT devices that operate on Windows platforms.

    Collaboration and Communication:
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to understand security requirements and integrate security solutions effectively.
  • Communicate security concepts and strategies clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Security Expertise:
  • Utilize knowledge of Microsoft security technologies, including Microsoft Defender and event log analysis, to enhance the security posture of Windows environments.
  • Stay informed about emerging security threats and best practices relevant to Windows security.

    Other Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and standards for Windows devices.
  • Identify and address technical challenges to facilitate the secure implementation of Windows solutions.
  • Participate in security community events and share insights to promote continuous improvement in security practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Expert-level knowledge and experience in securing Windows devices and environments.
  • Strong understanding of Windows architecture and security best practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft security tools, including Microsoft Defender.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive attitude and a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
