  • Design and Implement: Architect and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure using GCP and Kubernetes.
  • Manage Deployments: Oversee the deployment, management, and scaling of containerized applications using Kubernetes.
  • Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring solutions and troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Security: Ensure the security of the cloud infrastructure by implementing best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
  • Provide engineering and operational support for Ford's corporate Cyber Security Tools
  • Respond to infrastructure and Cyber security incidents. 
  • Collaborate with product vendors to coordinate distribution of regular updates/patches.
  • Test and implement vendor product upgrades.
  • Work with various infrastructure and application support teams to provide technical direction and address security issues.
  • Design, test, and implement security policies for critical Enterprise Infrastructure
  • Automate repeatable tasks, workflows to improve efficiency of processes by developing APIs/scripts and deploying to cloud.
  • Research and evaluate new security technologies and make recommendations for implementation.
  • A relevant Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in engineering/computer applications.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 3 years focused on GCP and Kubernetes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in GCP services such as Secret Manager, Key Management Services, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage and BigQuery. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, including experience with Openshift Container Platform, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Experience with containerization technologies like Docker/ Podman. 
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience in DevSecOps, cloud computing (GCP/AWS/Azure) is highly advantageous 
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Strong communication skills

  • Pro-active, independent, resourceful, able to work in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Positive and passionate personality, with a zest for life outside of work (we truly mean it. And measure it too!)
  • Certifications: GCP Professional Cloud Architect or GCP Professional DevOps Engineer certification is a plus.
  • Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
