Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in basic security systems, IT infrastructure, and security protocols. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the organization’s security systems, ensuring compliance with security policies, and assisting in the management of IT security-related issues.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a security administration or IT support role.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with security system administration (e.g., access control, CCTV, fire alarms).
    • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity principles.
    • Experience with basic troubleshooting of security systems and IT-related issues.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Proactive and solution-oriented with a keen interest in IT security.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain security systems (e.g., access control, CCTV, alarm systems).
  • Monitor and report on system activities to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular system audits to assess the security environment and identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Work closely with the IT team to integrate security systems with IT infrastructure and ensure proper functionality.
  • Provide troubleshooting and support for security-related issues in both physical and IT systems.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Perform routine system backups and software updates to ensure system integrity.
  • Support the management of user access and permissions for critical systems.
  • Assist in investigating security breaches and report findings to management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security trends, tools, and best practices.
