Senior Security Engineer

NVIDIA is looking for a hardworking Physical Security Engineer with direct, global experience to ensure the functionality of our security systems, controls, platforms, and technology throughout Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). What you'll be doing:

• Primarily responsible for the Physical Access Control System (PACS) and Video Management System (VMS), and a myriad of other platforms; this includes systems infrastructure design, installation, upgrades, maintenance, and administration

• Manage, partner, and collaborate with security integrators to perform daily maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient performance and reliability

• Resolve all service tickets for the PACS and VMS systems

• Curate relationships with industry peers, vendors, and key public agencies worldwide to keep ahead of industry threats and technology advancements

• Collaborate and partner with other teams during upgrades and new designs

What we need to see:

• Associate or Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)

• 5+ overall years in a similar role with proven experience

• Excellent IT skills including servers, virtualization, networking, applications, and database fundamentals

• Hand-on experience with the deployment, configuration, administration, and management of IT infrastructure and systems

• Conceptual and solid understanding of PACS and VMS

• Passion to learn and support new technologies and processes in the physical security field.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Advanced training and IT certifications (ITIL, MCSA, CCNA, etc.)

• Lenel, Milestone, Commend, or other industry certifications

• Proficiency in one or more scripting and/or programming languages

• Experience as a datacenter engineer or system administrator
