What you'll be doing:
- Conducting deep investigations of security events and incidents, ensuring thorough analysis and remediation.
- Developing and improving detection signals and response processes
- Improving Mean Time to Acknowledge (MTTA) and Mean Time to Respond (MTTR) by leveraging automation and tooling.
- Managing and overseeing security-related vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with internal policies and evolving external threats.
- Proactively identifying security vulnerabilities, recommending and performing remediations, and documenting best practices for security operations.
- Creating and maintaining security documentation, including playbooks, incident response plans, and standard operating procedures.
- Engaging in threat modeling, vulnerability management, and proactive threat hunting and security assessments to identify and prevent security risks before they escalate.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, infrastructure, corporate technology, and compliance teams, to integrate security best practices across the organization
Who we are looking for:
- Threat modeling and threat hunting experience
- Experience participating in incident response
- Vulnerability management operations and remediation
- Recent software development or scripting experience is an asset
- Strong documentation skills, including playbooks, SOPs, and incident response plans
- Ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable initiating and fostering new interactions across teams
