Peraton is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to lead and manage a diverse team of Information Security professionals. Candidate will lead in the assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave to identify vulnerabilities, mis-configurations, and deviations from enclave or local policies. Additionally, the candidate is responsible to coordinate with the customer, external organizations and security professionals to identify and implement security solutions designed to monitor, detect, respond and report to security relevant changes in operational systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university with twelve (12) years’ experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required is required. Four (4) years of additional experience as an ISSO may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Experience is to include at least two (2) of the following areas: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; and encryption techniques/ tools.
- Apply current computer science technologies and IA requirements to the analysis, design, development, evaluation, and integration of computer/communication systems and networks to maintain an acceptable system security posture throughout the lifecycle of multiple national level mission systems.
- Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- Current in at least one of the following certifications: CASP, CISSP, CISA, GCED, or GSEC.

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.EEO
