The Opportunity:


CACI is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Lead to support the Military Sealift Command Integrated Business Systems (MSC IBS) Security Team. This position will be remote, and the security lead will be responsible for providing expert level support in the implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) in accordance with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-43rev4 and the Navy RMF Process Guide (RPG), Cloud Security research and implementation, and vulnerability management.


Responsibilities:


• Lead a team of Information Systems Security Engineers (ISSE) and Officers (ISSO) overseeing and management of the RMF A&A process for MSC Integrated Business Systems (IBS).
• Work with government ISSM customers to ensure security controls are properly implemented across a DEVSECOPs environment.
• Support the migration and implementation of new technologies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability of the IBS systems.
• Participate in third party audit activities for systems processing, storing, or transferring financial data across Navy and DoD networks.
• Participate in continuous monitoring activities to maintain accreditation of the IBS Systems.
• Access security controls, vulnerability scanning, and STIG applicability for new technologies and implementation.
• Research mitigation efforts for vulnerabilities without remediation.
• Work with leadership to identify new tools and resources to achieve high productivity and compliance within the security team.
• Prepare reports for briefing to company leadership and the government customers on open vulnerabilities, remediation, or mitigation efforts, and identify any gaps or constraints within the scheduled completion dates.
• Limited travel may be required.

Qualifications:

Required:


• A bachelor’s degree in a technical field with at least 10 years of experience in Risk Management Framework processes.
Experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Cybersecurity Credential at or above one of the following DoD Directive 8570.01 requirements: IAT Level II (e.g., Security +CE, CCNA Security),
• At least five years- experience in the development and accreditation of Risk Management Framework-impacted systems or equipment that led to successful attainment of an Authorization to Operate (ATO) in DoN systems.
• A minimum of two years of experience using eMASS to document and track POAM and ATO requirements.
• A minimum of two years of experience conducting automated scans using ACAS, NESSUS, and other AWS tools.
• Experience implementing and researching DISA STIG/SRG requirements.
• Familiar with DoD, DoN, and other Cyber Security Regulatory compliance bodies.
• Experience implementing security controls and solutions into the Cloud environments, preferably AWS GOVCLOUD.
• US Citizenship required, US Government Secret security clearance or ability to obtain clearance required
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Experience working with the Navy Authorizing Official (NAO) and The Office of the Navy SCA.

Desired:


• Python and Basic scripting and automating capabilities
• Understanding of Splunk functionality
• AWS or some Cloud certification strongly preferred
• Ability to explain technical details to non-technical staff.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$95,500-$210,100
