Senior People Operations and Workforce Planning Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior People Operations and Workforce Planning Analyst who will work alongside leaders from various departments to design innovative, data driven solutions that address key workforce challenges. As a data driven analytics expert, you will play a crucial role in advancing the organizations People Analytics strategies to meet important objectives related to talent management, retention, employee development and workforce planning.

About the Role

In this role you will support the Director, People Operations by becoming a subject matter expert on our systems and people processes throughout the employee lifecycle. This role focuses on leveraging Workday to create insightful, visually impactful reports and dashboards, managing workforce planning efforts, and partnering across teams to drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving complex challenges, streamlining processes, and empowering decision-makers with data-driven insights. 

In this role, you will:

  • Design and deliver clear, visually compelling reports and dashboards that communicate insights to senior leaders and key decision makers. 

  • Act as the point person for producing reports, organizing data and identifying trends for the People Strategy team (i.e., retention, attrition, trend analysis, exit surveys, manager effectiveness, etc.)

  • Partner with Finance and business leaders to manage workforce planning efforts within the workday platform. Ensure alignment and a clear understanding of short- and long-term workforce plans.

  • Partner with the People Strategy team to identify and implement scalable processes for how operational requests are processed and create / maintain process documentation

  • Engage and collaborate with cross-functional partners across all business units including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Finance, Business Operations, etc. to ensure all people analytics requests are captured and up to date

  • Establish a regular report cadence and ensure security permissions protect confidential people data

  • Partner with the HRIS team to ensure we establish a data architecture and security permissions that provide us with accurate, effective and repeatable data

  • Monitor incoming requests for people related changes in our HCM (Workday) from our People Strategists while ensuring SLAs are met and open items are addressed. 

  • Support ad-hoc project management efforts around larger scale initiatives such as merit planning, talent management, goals & OKRS, data audits, etc.

This skills you’ll bring include:

  • 2-4 years of professional work experience in People Strategy with progressive experience in data / people analytics, reporting, HR Systems or related capacity

  • Must love working in MS Excel and Google Sheets and thrive being in a data driven environment

  • Experience using Workday or similar HRIS/HCM as the platform to pull reporting, create dashboards, process employee changes, etc. highly preferred

  • Experience with Adaptive/Workday Workforce Planning preferred

  • Enjoy working cross-functionally in a team-oriented, collaborative environment 

  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
