We are looking for an onsite Product Security Engineer (m/f/d/x) for our automation & digitalization team as soon as possible.

Responsibilities / Tasks

  • Develop, implement and maintain secure coding standards, best practices, and procedures for all product development

  • Provide training and guidance to team members on security practices and protocols

  • Work with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with security standards

  • Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing on automation systems and other software products

  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure security is integrated into the design and development process

  • Monitor and respond to security incidents related to automation systems and other software products

  • Research and stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats

  • Support product management, sales and service by providing information about product security of the products and services

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in security engineering

  • Proven expertise in security assessment, vulnerability testing, and risk management

  • Strong knowledge of security protocols, encryption methods, and cybersecurity best practices

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or similar are highly preferred

  • Familiarity with automation systems and products

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

  • Fluent English (C1/C2) and German (B2)
