Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst
Helsinki, Finland
Are you passionate about cyber threats and turning intelligence into action? At Telia’s Global Security Operations Center, we’re on the frontlines of preventing, detecting, and responding to security incidents.
As a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst …
You will play a critical role in monitoring, analyzing, and communicating insights about the cyber threat landscape. You will interact closely with stakeholders to translate their intelligence requirements into actionable insights. Your work will involve developing alerting rules, reviewing technical and non-technical threat sources, analyzing intelligence data, and preparing reports tailored to the needs of various stakeholders. Collaboration is at the heart of this role as you work alongside other members of Telia’s Global Security Operations Center to protect our organization.
Who we're looking for…
You thrive on learning and adapting to new challenges in the ever-evolving world of cyber threats. Whether your expertise lies in technical details or broader analysis, you have the ability to translate findings into real-world implications for stakeholders. You are driven, creative, and focused on making a difference in cybersecurity.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: cyber threat intelligence, intelligence analysis, cybersecurity operations or incident response.
You should have deep knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems, along with a solid understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP(S), DNS, and routing. Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, NDR and EDR is an advantage, as well as experience conducting analysis of endpoint and network artifacts.
You have a good understanding of threats, threat actors, and threat concepts, and are familiar with the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) concepts. You are knowledgeable on Advanced Persistent Threat (APT), cybercrime trends, vulnerabilities, investigative techniques, and have a thorough understanding of malware, and network traffic analysis.
Familiarity with cyber threat intelligence processes and tooling is a plus, but a strong desire to acquire this knowledge is equally important. Additionally, the candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
