The RoleWe are seeking a Technical Product Manager with a strong cybersecurity and risk management background to drive the development, strategy, and execution of our Risk Quantifier (RQ) product. This role is primarily focused on defining and prioritizing product features, integrations, and OEM partnerships, ensuring our solutions align with customer needs and industry security requirements. You will work closely with engineering, UX, and business teams to develop user stories, technical requirements, and product roadmaps that enhance our cybersecurity capabilities.
Additionally, you will support the product by documenting workflows, creating technical content, and developing customer-facing materials to drive adoption and engagement. Your ability to bridge technical security concepts with product strategy will be critical in delivering a best-in-class experience for our customers and partners. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of cybersecurity, product management, and technical content creation, ensuring our solutions meet the evolving security needs of customers and industry partners.
The ProductThreatConnect Risk Quantifier (RQ) enables organizations to rapidly, and in a data-driven, defensible manner, calculate the impact of a cyber attack in financial terms. RQ also provides prioritizations for where the business and security teams should invest resources (people, process, and technology) based on financial metrics and ROI. Bringing together cyber loss and cyber attack data, RQ links the technical and business parts of an organization together to make informed, data-driven decisions that drive risk mitigations.
In This Role, You'll Get To...Product Development & Roadmap Execution- Define and prioritize user stories, product requirements, and use cases for cybersecurity integrations and OEM partnerships- Work closely with engineering teams to develop and refine technical requirements for integrations with third-party security platforms- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure a seamless user experience for cybersecurity-related features
Workflow Documentation & Technical Content Creation- Create whitepapers, technical guides, API documentation, and product FAQs to support internal stakeholders and external customers- Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop and maintain compelling, differentiated product positioning and messaging for ThreatConnect RQ- ICP Development: Develop and refine ideal customer profile and target personas for sales and marketing efforts- Competitive Intelligence: Analyze the competitive landscape, identifying key differentiators and crafting messaging to highlight them- Sales Enablement: Develop and deliver sales training, including messaging, positioning, and competitive intelligence, to direct sellers, BDRs, and Partner Sales teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication- Align product roadmap with business goals, compliance requirements, and industry security standards- Present product updates, security features, and technical roadmaps to both internal leadership and external partners

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of product management experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or a related technical domain
  • Strong knowledge of cyber threat intelligence, security frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001), and risk quantification methodologies
  • Experience documenting technical workflows, API integrations, and security processes
  • Ability to write user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements for security-focused integrations
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience creating customer-facing and technical content
  • Familiarity with threat modeling, vulnerability management, SIEM/SOAR platforms, and security analytics tools
  • Experience working with Engineering, UX, and Go-To-Market teams to translate security requirements into scalable solutions

Desired Skills

  • Technical background (e.g., cybersecurity engineering, software development, cloud security)
  • Understanding and experience with the Factor Analysis Information Risk (FAIR) methodology 
  • Cyber security risk, risk management, or risk modeling experience 
  • Experience working with OEM partnerships and security technology integrations
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Figma, and API documentation tools
  • Understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and compliance frameworks
  • Prior experience in B2B SaaS, security software, or risk management solutions
