UBDS Digital offers cloud, connectivity, and managed services to drive digital transformation, enabling innovation, resilience, and agility for clients.3B Data Security (part of UBDS Group) are looking for an Information Security Consultant who can provide exceptional service delivery and contribute to the continued expansion of the organisation.
You will deliver a range of information security and assurance services to clients along with maintaining the company’s internal ISMS and QMS. You will have a strong background in ISO 27001 compliance, and you will be supported in developing your skills in other areas, moving towards further information security qualifications, such as QSA.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing and maintaining the organisations compliance with ISO 27001 and ISO 9001, ensuring continuous certification and improvements.
- Conducting and supporting Information Security Assessments, working towards achieving professional certification if not yet certified.
- Performing security risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Developing and implementing information security policies and procedures aligned with ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and PCI DSS requirements.
Requirements
2 years’ experience within an Information Security role with knowledge of industry standards such as Cyber Essentials, ISO, PCI DSS, SOX, DPA, GDPR, NIST.
Experience of managing ISO27001 compliance both internally and with clients and guiding companies through the certification.
Cyber Essentials, VA+ or Cyber Advisor certification and/or experience would be beneficial.
Qualifications in ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementor, PCI DSS (QSA), CISSP or CISM would be advantageous as would experience and/or qualifications in ISO 9001.
You must be passionate and enthusiastic for information security and be proactive to increase your knowledge and skills in this area.
You must have excellent communication skills and be customer focused.
You will be self-motivated and be able to work autonomously.
Due to the nature of the role, ideally you would have your own transport and be able to react at short notice when needed.
