We are looking for enthusiastic young individuals eager to learn and contribute to our mission of improving the lives of present and future generations through their internships with us in the following area: 

CYBERSECURITY DETECTION ENGINEERING

This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with the Cyber Detection team within the Cyber Intelligence & Security Operation Center (CISOC), which focuses on improving the company's detection capabilities. It also provides hands-on experience with the MITRE ATT&CK framework, evaluating security postures, and understanding detection gaps across different environments. 

Additionally, there is an opportunity to participate in enhancing an internal web application that integrates with the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) to visualize detection coverage across different environments. This role will provide exposure to real-world security operations and cutting-edge detection methodologies. 
 

What will your day-to-day be like? 

As an intern, you will: 

• Understand how the MITRE ATT&CK framework is used to evaluate an organization's security posture. 
• Gain knowledge about various company environments (Cloud, Windows, Linux) and their detection requirements. 
• Participate in the improvement and expansion of an internal detection coverage web application, developed in OpenShift with programming languages like Angular or MySQL. 
• Assist in the development of a prototype to demonstrate this integration. 
• Learn about SIEM integrations and how security events are ingested, processed, and analyzed. 
• Support the evaluation of the effectiveness of various LLM models based on their accuracy and efficiency in automating the test case generation process. 
• Together with your team, you will develop and optimize backend connections using Python. 

What type of profile are we looking for? 

• Currently pursuing a degree/master's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
• Programming skills in Python, knowledge of web development using Angular, and familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar SQL-based databases). 
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and cybersecurity concepts is a plus. 
• High level of English. 
• It is essential to be able to establish an internship agreement with the University or educational institution. 
• Availability to start the internship from April 25th for a duration of up to 12 months.
