Information about the position 

As a Security Engineer in the Payments domain, you will join a newly created internal Payments Platform team. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the adoption of DevSecOps practices within the domain and take ownership of its security strategy.

You will work closely with engineers to embed security into the development lifecycle, automate security controls, and ensure compliance with industry standards. This role offers the opportunity to shape security practices in a critical business area while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build a secure and resilient payments platform.

In this position, you’ll 

• Define and implement secure coding standards, conduct reviews, and educate engineers on best practices.
• Shift security left and foster security by design in the domain.
• Automate security checks in the CI/CD pipelines and streamline AWS policy enforcement.
• Set up and manage threat detection tooling, responding to threats as needed.
• Implement and maintain a structured process for vulnerability management and dependency patching.
• Collaborate with the Security & Privacy function to translate compliance requirements into implementation.

About you 

• Passionate about security, with extensive experience (ideally in AppSec or Blue Team).
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Eager to learn and master new concepts.
• A team player who enjoys working with other engineers.
• Able to effectively communicate technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• (Optional) Some experience running penetration tests.

The salary range for this position is  €4,975 - €8,842 gross per month.
