Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Specialist - Security Compliance who is highly skilled in evaluate security standards, frameworks, guidelines ,implementing and managing security controls, conducting security assessments, and responding to incidents, ensuring secure data transfer and storage. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and leveraging advanced analytics tools.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate security standards, frameworks, and guidelines (UAE IA Regulation, ISO 27001, ISO 27002, CIS, etc.) and interpret requirements into technical security controls.
- Implement and manage security controls and systems.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents.
- Collaborate with internal and international teams to ensure security measures are in place.
- Prepare and maintain security documentation and compliance reports
- Migration Considerations:
- Define, implement, and enforce necessary security measures to protect infrastructure and data.
- Securely configure and monitor infrastructure and all its components, including network and cloud environments, on-premises deployments, Windows and *Nix systems, databases, and other critical assets.
- Implement intrusion detection and prevention systems.
- Conduct regular security assessments and penetration tests.
- Ensure secure data transfer and storage
- KPIs:
- Effective implementation and maintenance of security controls in accordance with ISO 27001(27002), UAE IA Regulation, CIS, and other relevant standards.
- Reduction in security incidents and breaches.
- High accuracy in vulnerability detection and remediation.
- Efficient incident response times
- Offshore and International Considerations:
- Ensure security tools and practices are standardized across all locations.
- Provide training and support to offshore teams on security protocols.
- Monitor and address region-specific security threats.
- Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans, and related risk assessments.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years in security engineering.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, including ISO 27001, ISO 27002, UAE IA Regulation, CIS, and other relevant security standards.
- Ability to assess, implement, and validate security controls effectively.
- Expertise in network security, platform security, application security, cloud security, implementing security measures for Windows and *Nix environments, databases and security frameworks.
- Expertise in creation, maintenance, and updating of security documentation in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with security operations systems like IDS, EDR, NDR, MDM, SIEM, and anti-virus log collection.
- Knowledge of secure software development practices and vulnerability management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
