Implement cybersecurity best practices to protect railway IT and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure from cyber threats.
Work closely with IT and network teams to develop and enforce firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and encryption mechanisms for railway communications.
Ensure compliance with international cybersecurity standards (NIST, ISO 27001, IEC 62443) and UAE-specific data protection regulations.
Conduct security risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analysis to identify potential risks to railway operations.
Develop contingency plans, emergency response protocols, and mitigation strategies to address physical and cyber threats.
Monitor and analyze emerging security threats to continuously improve security posture.
Ensure all security systems and protocols comply with UAE security laws, railway safety regulations, and international security guidelines.
Coordinate with government security agencies, police, and transport authorities to align security measures with national security policies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving rail security regulations, cybersecurity frameworks, and global transportation security trend.
Develop and implement incident response plans for physical and cyber security breaches.
Lead forensic investigations, root cause analysis, and recovery strategies following security incidents.
Train and collaborate with operations and security teams on emergency response procedures, ensuring swift and coordinated actions during crises.
Work closely with engineering, operations, IT, and safety teams to integrate security solutions into railway infrastructure projects.
Provide technical expertise on security-related design considerations, ensuring safe passenger and asset movement within railway stations and facilities.
Develop security reports, technical documentation, and risk analysis studies to support project decision-making.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Experience in security risk assessment, threat modeling, and vulnerability analysis for large-scale transportation systems.
Familiarity with UAE security regulations, international security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, IEC 62443), and railway safety protocols.
Hands-on experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, firewall management, and penetration testing.
Knowledge of SCADA security, Operational Technology (OT) security, and cloud-based security solutions is highly desirable.
