The Opportunity:
Join our team where you'll work on innovative projects that protect our nation while enjoying opportunities for advancement. We're seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our diverse team in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities:

  • Update and validate system security requirements and designs

  • Perform technical security assessments and recommend mitigation strategies

  • Coordinate Information Assurance (IA) matters across teams and external partners

  • Implement secure networking, computing, and enclave environments

  • Support security planning, risk analysis, and management activities

  • Contribute to certification and accreditation processes

  • Assist in building security architectures and enforcing trusted relationships

  • Apply system security engineering expertise across various domains


Qualifications:

Required: 

  • An active NRO TS/SCI clearance with Poly

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field (or 5+ years of ISSE experience)

  • Security+ or CISSP certification

  • 7+ years of related experience, including 4+ years as an ISSE on similar projects

  • Proficiency in security tools, concepts, and frameworks (e.g., SEIMs, LogRhythm, ACAS/Nessus/SCAP, RMF)

  • Knowledge of IA policies, procedures, and workforce structures

  • Experience with certification and accreditation documentation

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%


Desired:

  • Experience with database and web server security

  • Familiarity with cross-domain solutions and COTS/GOTS cryptography

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$102,900 - $216,200
