CACI's Corporate Enterprise Services Cyber Security Team is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer. As a member of the Cyber Security Team, you will work to create and maintain a DFARS compliant operating environment for CACI’s users by protecting network boundaries, designing and supporting hardened computer, network devices, cloud services, and provide security services to protect highly sensitive data for our endpoints, servers, and OT/IoT.
The candidate will work directly with our Cyber Security team to support all major activities with a cyber security focus. Additional responsibilities include technical risk assessment, testing and validation of remediation for vulnerabilities, and compliance guidance for our networking environments. Candidate will support governance of appropriate policy and compliance technology to meet or exceed applicable government and compliance.
Duties:
- Create and maintain a DFARS compliant operating environment
- Protect network boundaries
- Design and support hardened computers, network devices, and cloud services
- Provide security services for endpoints, servers, and OT/IoT
- Conduct technical risk assessments
- Test and validate vulnerability remediation
- Provide compliance guidance for networking environments
- Support governance of policy and compliance technology •
- Provide cybersecurity guidance for CACI networks and infrastructure
- Assess security risk and compliance levels of systems
- Research cybersecurity threats and NIST 800 standards
- Create mitigation strategies and follow up with stakeholders
- Maintain a zero-trust environment throughout CACI
- Use data aggregation and analysis techniques for security insights
- Ensure networking technologies are securely engineered and deployed
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Cyber security
- Strong Cyber Security background
- Knowledge of major Cloud Service Providers and their implementations
- Knowledge of current and next-generation IT technologies
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team-centric environment
- Experience drafting technical requirements, procedure outlines, and network diagrams
- Ability to analyze security reports and review process documentation •
- Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within the DoD
- ML, Gen-AI, LLM expertise
- Certifications: CYSA+, CISSP, CEH, Security+
- Top-Secret clearance
- Experience with cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance activities
- Established and productive individual contributor
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Experience with risk management frameworks, DFARS 800-171, CMMC, ISO, NIST
Intermediate knowledge in three or more of the following:
- SDN concepts
- NIST 800 series
- Risk management and mitigation strategies
- Implementation of security tools and automation or frameworks
- Cloud architecture including SaaS implementations
- Multifactor and identity management solutions
- Possess in-depth knowledge of multifactor authentication, identity management, and privileged access solutions

The proposed salary range for this position is:
