Network Security Specialist

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Network Security Specialist to join our UniQue team in Luxembourg.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Preparation phase: Define the business requirements, pre-requisites and detailed planning including work packages, workload estimation, validation milestones and clearly identified actors and dependencies for all phases of the project.
• Design phase: Create tests and POC, documentation as High-Level Design, Low Level Design, Operational Procedures and workshops for OPERATIONS.
• Implementation phase: Install and configure of the infrastructure components together with operations based on the tests done in labs and the POC outcomes.
• Post implementation phase: monitor and post-installation incidents fix, decommissioning of replaced systems.
• Coordination and project management: collect relevant input from the officials and technical teams (e.g. through organization of workshops); reporting to the management about the progress of the different activities; internal coordination of the project team and interface with the other teams; communication.

Requirements

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Master degree in in an ICT related domain (or Bachelor+4 years of additional professional experience)
• At least 8 years of experience in network security engineering and administration
• Understanding of firewall and application layer gateway
• Good knowledge of VPN and remote access architectures
• Strong grasp of authentication systems and protocols
• Expertise with security systems management and administration
• Substantial experience with encryption techniques and protocols
• Solid understanding of network traffic segregation (VLAN, VRF, MPLS, trunking, ...)
• Proficiency in both English and French language is mandatory
