We’re looking for an experienced Associate DevSecOps Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.
About the role:
As an Associate DevSecOps Engineer, I start my day by assisting in the development and implementation of end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles, aiming for secure and effective processes. I then assist in coordinating with clients, helping in designing and setting up Kubernetes or Docker solutions based on their requirements. I participate in the construction of CI/CD pipelines, facilitating the timely and consistent delivery of software updates. Additionally, I aid in the implementation of GitOps principles for software delivery.
What we are looking for:
- 1-2 years' experience with Kubernetes or Docker, assisting in setting up clusters
- Assist in developing and implementing end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud technologies
- Beginner understanding of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies
- Basic networking knowledge
- Interest in Service-Mesh, such as Istio
- Basic knowledge of version control systems like Gitlab
- Eagerness to learn CI/CD pipelines and software systems development
- Problem-solving mindset
- Enthusiasm for automation, system efficiency, and security
- Experience or interest in cloud-based services
- Familiarity with Log Management and Analytics tools is a plus
- Eagerness to learn tools like AWS Cloud Services, Gitlab, Ansible, Maven, Gradle
- Experience with basic testing tools is a plus
- Willingness to stay updated with industry trends
Highly preferred:
- Familiarity with writing custom Helm Charts
- Interest in Big Data
- Eagerness to work with various programming languages and their package managers/dependency managers
- Interest in automation languages like Python or Typescript
Clearance Requirements:
- Active Secret security clearance
Work Type:
- Hybrid - Colorado Springs, CO
- May require up to 10% travel
Salary Range:
- $70,000 - $110,000
- The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
