Job Description
HII Mission Technologies is seeking an Information Security Analyst to support the Department of the Navy, Naval Air Systems Command, NAWCAD continuing requirement for NAWCAD WOLF IC2&I Distance Learning Systems (DLS) providing technical and project management support, operational support, systems engineering support, and system hardware tracking support to perform tasks in support of assigned Distance Learning (DL) and Knowledge Management (KM) related technologies and systems. This position will require working onsite in Patuxent River, MD and the candidate must be within 50 driving miles from St Inigoes, MD.
This is contingent upon contract award.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a lead for the team responsible for IA posture of networks and systems and support system certification and accreditation.
- Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer network/systems and information.
- Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure.
- Provide analysis, integration, testing, and maintenance of network/systems.
- Lead the development of system IA documentation to support certification of compliance to applicable standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
- Client experience requirements: Of the seven (7) years of required experience, at least five (5) years of the experience must be in all phases of IA and cybersecurity support of DoD Component Enterprise- wide IT systems. Additionally, at least five (5) years of experience must include practical computer security experience in secure network and system design, analysis, procedure/test generation, test execution, and implementation of computer/network security mechanisms. These aforementioned years of required experience may be conducted concurrently.
- Client education requirements: BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution.
- An active Top Secret security clearance is required.
- An active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) certification is required.
