Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic IT team.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, strong proficiency in JavaScript, and in-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a key role in customizing and enhancing our ServiceNow instance to meet the evolving needs of our organization.

Responsibilities :

•  ITSM Processes: A foundational knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes is crucial. This includes familiarity with incident management, change management, problem management, and service catalog methodologies.
• Proficiency in JavaScript: ServiceNow heavily relies on JavaScript for its customization and development. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding, especially of its object-oriented aspects, is essential.
• ServiceNow Platform Fundamentals: Grasp the basic architecture, components, and modules of the ServiceNow platform.
• Acquire knowledge about the platform's data model, encompassing tables, records, relationships, and core functionalities.
• ServiceNow Development Skills: Capability to customize ServiceNow functionalities using tools like Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
• Proficiency in utilizing ServiceNow Studio, our integrated development environment (IDE), for effective application customization.
• API Integration: Familiarity with ServiceNow's APIs, including REST, SOAP, and Scripted APIs, is paramount for seamless integration with third-party applications and services.
• Web Technologies: Adequate understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and AngularJS, particularly in the context of ServiceNow's Service Portal development.
• Database Proficiency: Strong grasp of relational database concepts as they pertain to ServiceNow's architecture.
• Competence in designing database views, optimizing queries, and understanding indexes within the ServiceNow environment.
