Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager

We are looking for a dedicated Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager to join our team and lead our threat intelligence efforts, at Telenor Cyberdefence HQ in Fornebu or in our office in Grimstad

The Threat Intelligence Manager maintains a key role for Telenor Cyberdefence (TCD) making sure we drive value and knowledge to our customers. As Threat Intelligence Manager you will own TCDs Cyber Threat Intelligence programme, including understanding of which cyber threat actors are targeting our customers, and the use of intelligence on Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP) to better our products and internal cybersecurity controls. You will work closely with our service portfolio function, red and blue operational teams, platform and consulting teams as well as with the wider cybersecurity community, making sure that TCD is recognized as a thought leader on threat intelligence in the Nordic countries.

In this role, you will lead the development, execution, and refinement of TIBER-based threat intelligence activities, working closely with red teams, blue teams, and key stakeholders to ensure realistic and impactful attack simulations. TCD is an established red team TIBER vendor and are aiming to broaden our offering.

This role requires experience from threat intelligence systems, preferably in the role as Threat Intelligence Manager or Lead, with strong cybersecurity capability necessary for creating and managing our CTI team. 

You will have the following key responsibilities: 

·      Build and own TCDs Cyber Threat Intelligence strategy in close cooperation with the service portfolio function

·      Build and maintain relations with our current CTI partners and selected security communities, contributing to driving an engaged and knowledgeable community

·      Collaborate across teams to ensure CTI-driven operational capabilities across our portfolio

·      Contribute to the wider threat intelligence community, establishing TCD as a key contributor and thought leader in the Nordic market

·      Identify intelligence gaps and propose new tools and research projects to fill them 

·      Contribute to develop and implement relevant governance, tools and procedures

·      Support the CTI team with production of reports and presentations

·      CTI spokesperson, presenting reports and services, and guidance to different audiences

·      Act as TIBER TI Manager in TIBER engagements for our customers

We believe you have the following qualifications and skills: 

·      Experience of a minimum of 5-7 years in threat intelligence or a related field, including management or team lead experience

·      Experience with cyber threat intelligence related tools is preferred

·      Experience with frameworks for dissemination and ability to translate threats and developments to be presented in written and oral form to commercially focused audiences

·      Preferably a sound understanding of the Nordic security market as well as a thorough understanding of the existing and upcoming security technologies

·      Preferably experience with TIBER and TI related to the financial sector

·      Experience from Microsoft Azure and the overall security portfolio in the Microsoft universe is preferred, ability to quickly acquire this knowledge is most important.

·      An excellent communicator with the ability to clearly articulate and tailor technical content to a variety of audiences

·      Proven ability to co-operate both with sales functions and service portfolio functions, preferably in an MSSP

·      Certifications in related areas (e.g. GOSI, SANS SEC487 & SEC587, IntelTechniques OSIP, etc)

·      Professional fluency in verbal and written English and a Scandinavian language is required.
