As our SAP Basis & Security Specialist reporting to our Head of Application Platforms you will act as our business subject matter expert responsible for administration, maintenance and security for the SAP landscape ensuring system stability, security, and optimal performance.

This position will work closely with internal and external vendors to implement best practices, enhance system capabilities and ensure compliance with security standards and policies.
 
Flexible hybrid working environment with time in the office and work from home. We are open to basing this position from either our North Sydney corporate head office or our Parramatta office.   

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage SAP Basis operations, including system installations, upgrades, patches, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Ensure SAP security compliance by implementing and maintaining robust role-based access controls user provisioning and security configuration
• Perform system monitoring analysis and proactive maintenance of SAP landscapes including ECC,S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager and other SAP applications.
• Administer SAP transport management, client copies, system refreshes, and back up/recovery process.
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring SAP systems adhere to company security policies.
• Conduct regular audits, risk assessment and compliance checks to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policy.
• Provide technical support and guidance to functional teams, ensuring seamless integration and performance of SAP applications.
• Maintain relevant documentation and ensure business is achieving business objects and SAP tables.
• Work with external vendors and services providers to ensure timely issue resolution and service delivery.

Your skills:   

• Expertise in SAP Basis administration including installation, configuration, monitoring and tuning.
• Well developed knowledge of SAP Security concepts, including user access management, role-based access control and segregation of duties.
• Proficiency in managing databases (HANA, Oracle, NS SQL or DBE) supporting SAP applications.
• Experience with SAP system migrations, upgrades and cloud-based deployments.
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field.
• SAP Certified Technology Assoicate (SAP Basis, SAP Security or SAP HANA Administration would be highly desirable.
