We are looking for a Senior Security Consultant to work in our area of the EMEA Services Delivery function.

 

You will be responsible for designing and implementing secure-by-design solutions, with a strong emphasis on data protection technologies such as Microsoft Purview and cloud security solutions like Defender for Cloud and Sentinel.

 

You will bring a comprehensive understanding of threat and vulnerability management, cloud security capabilities, and the ability to navigate various cybersecurity domains beyond product specialisation.

***This role we are offering is a Hybrid position; you will be expected to come into the office as part of your responsibilities. ***

 

 

As a Senior Security Consultant your Responsibilities are:

 

  • Support teammates with issues and help them to find creative solutions to sometimes complex challenges.
  • Engage in the pre-sale cycle and provide consultancy, including audits and assessments to support the sales team in their proposals.
  • Design, build and configure solutions to address client needs and business drivers, ensuring they meet or exceed expectations.
  • Use data protection solutions like Microsoft Purview to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information while following relevant regulations.
  • Develop and implement cloud security strategies to protect cloud-based assets and applications, ensuring secure deployment and management in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Identify, assess, and manage threats and vulnerabilities to strengthen the organisation’s security posture.
  • Apply industry frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, and NIS2 to guide security practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct incident management processes, implementing recovery strategies and disaster recovery plans to minimise the impact of security incidents.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring that security is a fundamental aspect of all software development processes.
  • Stay informed about the latest security trends and technologies, providing insights and recommendations to enhance the organisation’s cybersecurity strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders at all levels, including technical teams and executive leadership, to align cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives and address organisational challenges.

 

 

Experience and Skills:

 

  • Experience in cybersecurity consulting, with a focus on designing and implementing secure solutions.
  • Proficient in data protection solutions, particularly Microsoft Purview.
  • Strong background in cloud security, with experience in securing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience working with SIEM solutions like Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Have In-depth knowledge of industry frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, and NIS2.
  • Experience in designing and implementing identity and authorisation solutions.
  • Proven record in incident management and disaster recovery processes.
  • Familiarity with integrating security into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of business problems and the role of cybersecurity in driving organizational growth.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) are highly desirable.
  • Certifications in different vendor or technology related courses, like Cisco, Microsoft, Palo Alto.
