Position Overview:
The Director of Security Operations will be responsible for maintaining and influencing enterprise-wide vision, operational strategy, and the program for ensuring that information assets are appropriately protected. On a daily basis you will be leading Intapp’s cybersecurity operations, including security policy implementation and enforcement, cyber threat intelligence, incident response, threat detection and prevention, and vulnerability management. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical hands-on experience managing diverse security technologies and global personnel. Overall, this role will:
Lead cybersecurity operational implementation and processes,
Drive continual improvement of these processes,
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to a global team, and
Serve as a trusted advisor to internal and external customers.
The Director, Security Operations reports directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and is responsible for a team of security professionals.
What you will do:
Drive and continuously improve a comprehensive security operations strategy, which includes defining security objectives, creating the required capabilities, operation models, KRIs and KPIs for success
Develop, maintain and enhance Security Operations process flows, metrics and reporting capabilities.
Direct the global Security Operation Center (SOC). Provide and implement optimized and improved processes at application level to ensure high availability of all SOC services.
Design and implement effective processes that support the protection of computers, networks, software, data and information systems against possible attack
Collaborate with Information Technology (IT) group to oversee the security infrastructure and solutions, that address:
Zero trust security models across all infrastructure levels
IAM and PAM that enhance and manage identity governance and future Next-Gen Authentication methodologies (ex. PassKeys and passwordless authentication)
Cloud security, including deploying key security solutions for critical cloud environments while enforcing standards that monitor cloud environments. Ensure a consistent focus on cloud security through automation.
Ensure and enforce Endpoint Security: Maintain a persistent state of security for 2,000 endpoints across a global enterprise.
Access Postures: Ensure Access Controls are in place and persistently applied. This includes the development, deployment and enforcement of policies to ensure least privilege access across the enterprise. As well as maintaining secure credential storage environments.
Oversee IT infrastructure vulnerability management.
Initiates and fosters partnerships with legal, human resources, vendors, senior leadership, and IT teams to drive security capabilities across the environment
Manage the budget for the security operations team.
Mentor and develop the security operations team.
Stay up to date on the latest security threats and trends: This includes attending conferences, presenting and reading industry publications.
What you will need:
Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in security operations, preferably in a leadership role.
Proven track record of success in managing security incidents and implementing security controls.
Deep understanding of security threats and vulnerabilities.
Strong technical skills, including knowledge of security tools and technologies.
Experience securing Cloud Infrastructure with at least one of the big three: AWS, Azure, GCP
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Exhibit a broad knowledge and adherence to regulatory, security policies and procedures
Nice to have:
Strong understanding of regulatory and legal compliance requirements that may impact security and having worked with business areas and project teams to develop security solutions that address these requirements
Experience designing, maintaining or operating a SOC.
