Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Manager of Threat Intelligence and Red Team to lead and enhance our proactive cybersecurity efforts. This role will involve managing a team responsible for threat intelligence, hunting, and red team operations, as well as continuously improving our organization's ability to anticipate, detect, and respond to cyber threats.
Responsibilities
· Lead and manage the Threat Intelligence and Red Team functions, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
· Oversee the development and execution of threat detection strategies, including threat hunting and use case development for detection technologies.
· Plan and execute red team engagements to simulate advanced cyber threats, identify vulnerabilities, and strengthen overall security posture.
· Collaborate with the Incident Response teams to integrate findings and enhance detection and response capabilities.
· Monitor emerging cyber threats and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to inform detection and red team activities.
· Ensure the development, maintenance, and operationalization of tools, processes, and methodologies for both threat intelligence and offensive security testing.
· Communicate technical findings and strategic recommendations effectively to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
· Develop reports and presentations to summarize team activities, findings, and improvement plans.
· Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and advanced cyber threat intelligence to continuously improve the effectiveness of the team.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
· At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity with demonstrated expertise in threat detection, red teaming, or penetration testing.
· Proven experience managing teams, with the ability to mentor and develop technical talent.
· Strong understanding of adversary emulation, threat hunting techniques, and security monitoring tools.
· Proficiency in using cybersecurity frameworks and tools such as MITRE ATT&CK, Metasploit, Splunk, ELK Stack, or similar.
· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical challenges.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
· Relevant certifications are a plus
