About the Role:

Cybersecurity Operations Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security tools for security alerts and potential incidents.
  • Analyze security logs from various sources (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, servers, etc.) to identify suspicious activity.
  • Assist in the investigation and triage of security alerts, escalating as necessary.
  • Assist in the documentation of security operations procedures.
  • Assist in the execution of vulnerability scans and assessments.
  • Help to track and report on vulnerability remediation efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Follow and adhere to company security policies and procedures.
  • Be part of the cyber security team on-call rotation
  • Fluent in English

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity and associated technologies, including operating systems, cloud solutions, network technologies, and security tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
  • Sense of responsibility with a curious and eager-to-learn mindset.
  • University or college degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience). 
  • Security certifications are considered advantageous.
