I2X Technologies is seeking a DEVSECOPS ENGINEER to support ongoing activities for a customer in COLORADO SPRINGS OR HUNTSVILLE. This position will be *on-site* and will require an active SECRET clearance

• Support the DevSecOps team to develop and deploy Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service capability
• Assist in the system administration of multiple environments, software deployment, troubleshooting, and automation in a DevSecOps environment for a critical customer program. We are working with the leading DevOps practices and tooling (Hashicorp Tools, Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible Tower and Nexus Pro).
• Work on systems administration related issues with hardware and software for different network environments.
• Support deployment of custom software solutions integrating COTS, GOTS, and developed software.
• Propose system administration process improvement to reduce overall maintenance requirements by working with the design team and manufacturers.
• Determines systems requirements, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system configuration.
• Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies.
• Develops and recommends corrective actions.
• May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 3+ years experience or bachelors with 5+ years experience or equivalent
• Active Secret clearance
• CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) DoD 8 570.01-M IAT Level II Certification
• Experience with Linux or Windows System Administration
• Scripting skills in languages such as bash or PowerShell
• Experience with automation
• Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools
• Agile methodologies 
• Understanding of software development life cycle
• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles
• Experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Ansible Tower
• Experience with HashiCorp Packer and Vault
• Experience with Gitlab CI/CD
• Experience with Nexus
• Experience in virtualization technology, including, but not limited to, VMware
• Understanding of HP server configuration

Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
