Group OT Network Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

TITAN Cement Group is looking for a skilled Group OT Network Infrastructure Engineer to play a key role in designing, implementing, and securing our global OT network infrastructure. As a Group OT Network Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of TITAN’s OT networks and cloud-based network communications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional IT/OT infrastructure, automation and security teams, external vendors / integrators, and industrial operations teams to support TITAN’s global network services and business continuity.

The role will be based at our Headquarters in Athens, Greece.

Responsibilities

What You will Do:

OT Network Infrastructure

• Design, implement, and maintain TITAN’s OT network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and business continuity.
• Work closely with Cybersecurity to ensure network security and compliance with industry standards (ISA/IEC 62443, NIST, NERC CIP).
• Manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security measures to protect OT systems from cyber threats.
• Oversee the performance and security of LAN/WAN, wireless networks, and cloud-based networking solutions.
• Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to implement resilient OT network architectures.

Project Management & Operations

• Lead OT network infrastructure projects across multiple regions, ensuring seamless integrations with local automation systems, IT and cloud networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data communication and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, procedures, and policies.
• Oversee the disaster recovery strategy to ensure resilience and continuity of OT systems.
• Manage vendor & integrator relationships, validate technical and financial proposals, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Assist in preparation of annual budget and closely monitor actual spend.

Technical Leadership & Team Collaboration

• Lead a team of IT/OT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical training.
• Ensure efficient coordination of day-to-day operations, aligning with TITAN’s digital transformation strategy.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, conduct proof of concepts (PoCs), and introduce emerging technologies.
• Report progress, status updates, and key challenges to the Group Digital Technology & Operations Director.

Qualifications

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in network engineering, OT infrastructure, or industrial systems.
• Hands-on experience with physical & virtual network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, access points), on-premises or cloud-based.
• Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, HSRP, VLANs, MPLS, etc.) and industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP).
• Experience in SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, and OT security frameworks.
• Proven expertise in cloud-based OT solutions, edge computing, and IIoT.

• Proficiency in firewalls, VPNs, 2FA, IPS/IDS and vulnerability assessments.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (PRTG, Wireshark, Nagios, Zabbix).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and adaptability in global environments.

Preferred Certifications: 

• Minimum CCNA or CCNP, CISSP, CEH (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of ISA/IEC 62443, NIST, NERC CIP cybersecurity frameworks.
• Experience in cloud-based OT security, edge computing, and IIoT.
