About the Team:
The NGSIEM product team is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager who is skilled in technical aspects, collaborative in nature, and deeply passionate about advancing the NG-SIEM vision. In this role, you will apply your extensive knowledge and expertise in UI engineering to contribute to the development of CrowdStrike’s investigation, detection, and prevention technologies within the NGSIEM, endpoint, and SOAR markets. You’ll leverage your existing skills in UI engineering to introduce significant new features and enhancements. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to interact and influence cross-functional teams across the company.
About the Role:
As an Engineering Manager, you’ll be responsible for the recruitment, workload management, wellbeing and professional growth of a team of software engineers, helping build an open & collaborative environment and supporting systems to help them succeed in their roles. You’ll work closely with your peers in UX and across the broader engineering organization to ensure projects are a success. You may already be an experienced manager or this may be your first step into management from a senior or team-lead role.
What You’ll Do:
Manage team workload, project resourcing & coordination in a fast-paced, highly distributed environment.
Support wellbeing of team members - providing support & guidance focused primarily on resourcing, progress, and soft skills. Gather feedback from others, provide coaching as needed & in collaboration with senior developers to advance team member skill sets.
Lead and coordinate recruitment process from initial contact to offer
Successful onboarding & general administration.
Some travel (project offsites, team get-togethers).
Develop general understanding of the cybersecurity domain to best support leads and team members.
What You’ll Need:
Strong engineering track-record focusing on front-end development & technologies (JS/CSS/HTML) and modern frameworks and approaches.
Experience mentoring & supporting people and teams with empathy & professionalism.
Experience tracking and managing multiple projects.
Establish best practices for automation testing, integrating it into CI/CD pipelines to improve release confidence and reduce manual testing efforts.
Champion end-to-end test automation using Playwright or any framework, ensuring robust UI and functional test coverage across products.
Bonus Points Awarded For:
Knowledge of and experience with technical teams, cybersecurity, and startups strongly preferred.
Leverage Generative AI to enhance developer productivity, automation, and decision-making in engineering workflows.
Experience in remote-first environments.
Experience or familiarity with Ember.

CrowdStrike Canada ULC is committed to equal pay for equal work in its compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in Canada is $150,000 - $225,000 CAD per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
