Senior Product Manager - Threat

**About the Team:**

Obsidian Security is seeking a skilled Product Manager to drive the evolution of its Identity Threat Detection & Response product. You will help customers solve the fast-growing identity threat by developing and executing a strategic roadmap, collaborating closely with engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions, and working with Product Marketing Management (PMM) to drive impactful go-to-market strategies. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of identity security and contributing to Obsidian's mission to protect organizations from emerging threats.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Conduct extensive market research to understand customer pain points, emerging trends, and the competitive landscape in ITDR.
• Develop a compelling product strategy and roadmap that aligns with the company's mission to enhance identity security through innovative ITDR solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-centric product solutions that prioritize ease of use, and outcomes.
• Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback and validate product concepts.
• Act as a product evangelist, effectively communicating the value proposition of ITDR solutions to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

• 3-5 years of product management experience in the cybersecurity industry, with a focus on IAM, SIEM, or XDR.
• Strong technical background, with a solid understanding of authentication protocol, threat modeling, and detection tech stacks.
• Strong analytical skills to leverage data insights and market trends to inform product decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt and work in a fast-moving environment.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Experience in building an identity threat detection and response product.
• Hands-on experience building detections using popular SIEMs.
• Working experience in an enterprise security team with a strong understanding of enterprise needs.

Pay Transparancy

Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is eligible for equity awards and may be eligible for incentive compensation based on factors such as experience, skills, and location.

Base Salary Range$158,000—$212,000 USD
