Join Our Team  

You will be an Security & Infrastructure Engineer. You will part of a global, agile and collaborative team that will help to influence and execute upon SiriusPoint’s global Cloud & Security strategy. Collaborating with both the Cloud & Security groups, this is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team during a period of dynamic growth and expansion.  The role will report directly to the Security Operations Manager with a dotted line reporting to the Infrastructure Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing network infrastructure, ensuring network security, and supporting various IT initiatives.
  • Designing, building and operating core infrastructure and security systems across the SiriusPoint ecosystem that adhere with enterprise policies and industry standards & best practices
  • Administering and interfacing with various security tooling such as SIEM, EDR, PAM and DLP
  • Analysing security vulnerabilities and assisting in vulnerability management programs
  • Executing and maintaining incident response procedures, including being a point of escalation for international entities
  • Advising on opportunities for modernization and improved security, scalability and resiliency
  • Driving continual improvements as technical and business needs evolve in line with SiriusPoint’s corporate strategy

Your skills and abilities should include:

  • 5+ years of applied experience in cybersecurity, penetration testing or IT security operations.
  • A desire and curiosity to learn & implement innovative ways to solve challenges and meet business needs. The ability to think and execute with a well-architected and secure-by-design approach.
  • Experience in malware/software analysis, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools such as CrowdStrike, Wiz, Tenable, Proofpoint, Microsoft Defender and other threat detection suites.
  • Experience and comfort working with various network platforms including Fortinet, Palo Alto and F5
  • Experience with a broad set of AWS technologies, with a particular emphasis on networking, security and data protection. Similar experience with Azure and other Cloud service providers is a plus.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Active Directory, DNS and File Services; Working knowledge of Amazon Route 53
  • Experience with integrating Cloud infrastructure and applications with Cloud-agnostic tooling in areas such as monitoring, observability, identity & security
  • Experience and comfort level with both Microsoft and Linux operating systems, standard networking concepts and general familiarity with various database platforms
  • General knowledge of applicable security/privacy controls, Sarbanes-Oxley, NIST cybersecurity framework.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to effectively manage multiple, competing projects/priorities while achieving targeted completion results.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) including technical documentation, with a strong teamwork and customer service mindset
