The purpose of this position is for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Vulnerability Management Analyst to join our Information Security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and assessing vulnerabilities across our IT infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to enhance our security posture.

Job Functions:

  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the vulnerability management program.
  • Generate regular reports on the status of vulnerabilities and remediation efforts.
  • Ensure tools are properly configured and integrated with other security and IT systems.
  • Identify and prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and potential impact.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments using tools such as Qualys.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to continuously improve the vulnerability management program.
  • Evaluate the potential impact of vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science Related
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience.
  • Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools, particularly Qualys
  • Experience in vulnerability management or a related cybersecurity field
  • Ability to interpret vulnerability report results and integrate findings into the vulnerability management program.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX) and their security configurations
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.

Physical Demands:  Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. 

Travel: None or very little travel likely

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. 

 

This position is classified as “in-office.”  As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays.  Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area. 

Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
