The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for maintaining compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). This is a full-time position in support of the Strategic Deterrent System (SDS) Division.
What You'll Get to Do
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Supporting a fast-paced, high-profile, program; create, maintain, and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers
- Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment
- Conduct security audits
- Assist with Media Issuance, Accountability, and Destruction
- Serve as the focal point for receiving, processing, distributing, and controlling all classified documentation (hard copy and electronic media) entering or leaving the facility
- Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers on action(s) to be taken to ensure compliance with the classified security program
- Submit, review, and verify Visit Requests through queries to government security databases and systems
- Support classified security programs and provide expertise in all security functions in accordance with the DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals (DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1-4) and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and other applicable security regulations and requirements
- Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies/procedures
- Maintain access control, including UL-2050 Compliant Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and automated Access Control Systems (ACS)
- Ensure adherence to contractual guidance for classified programs and cleared facilities in accordance with DD Form 254, DoD Contract Security Classification Specifications guidance
- Assist program managers and professional staff in the interpretation, application, and compliance with program Security Classification Guides (SCG)

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
- 2 years of relevant experience with bachelor’s degree, or 0 years of relevant experience with a master's degree. 4 years of additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Must have administrative, security education, inventory, risk management, security compliance, or other security-related experience
- Experience working with classified
- Computer and desktop Microsoft office software products experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoD 5205.07 manuals
- Familiarity with Security Information Management System (SIMs)
- Experience with SLOPACS, DISS, NISS, Lenel, or other related security systems
- Organized and efficient at time management
- Must be detail-oriented, have meticulous record-keeping, and will be responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-started with minimal supervision
- Experience with government compliance inspections
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
