Senior Software Engineer – CIEng in IDC

Responsibilities

• You will be part of an infrastructure software engineering team collaboratively designs, builds, and maintains tools that ensure seamless and efficient operations for the organizations which accelerate the developer experience.
• You will collaborate closely with multiple teams across Microsoft to deliver key customer solutions and the technology to support them.
• Engage in and improveend-to-endlifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.    
• Analyze complex system behavior, performance, and application issues.
• Applymodernsoftware engineering practices to streamline deployments, drive down costs and operational overhead while meeting critical reliability and availability KPIs.   
• Workhand in hand with engineering teams tooffer guidance and education on integration, testing, monitoring, and security across different technology stacks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven hands-on technical skills working on large scale production systems 
• Experienced in cloud programming environments, using modern architecture 
• BSC or MSC in Software Eng. or Computer Eng. 
• Strong problem analysis skills 
• Team player with excellent collaboration, communication, and leadership skills 
• Attention to details and passion for quality engineering 
• Demonstrate success dealing with ambiguous “unsolved” problems; and the ability to independently make solid progress by breaking new ground  

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Security/Cyber domains 
• Experience with Kubernetes and Containers  
• Experience with .NET/C# 
• Experience with Azure cloud environment 
• Experience with application and system monitoring systems
