Senior DevSecOps Architect - Deployment, Release and Configuration Management

Duties & Responsibilities:

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevSecOps Architect to join our dynamic R&D organization. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing deployment, release management, and configuration management processes for complex distributed systems. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless integration of security into our DevOps practices and drive the implementation of these systems across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, communicate, and drive the implementation of deployment, release management, and configuration management processes.
• Develop and maintain automated release pipelines and deployment techniques for complex distributed systems.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps to streamline deployment and release processes.
• Ensure robust configuration management practices to maintain system integrity and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure and scalable solutions.
• Develop and enforce security policies and best practices across the DevOps lifecycle.
• Monitor and optimize the performance, security, and reliability of deployment and release processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our DevSecOps practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Key Technical Requirements:

• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Proficiency in GitOps principles and practices.
• Strong knowledge of release management and configuration management.
• Expertise in designing and implementing release pipelines and deployment techniques.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud and on-premises deployment environments.
• Experience with security tools and practices in a DevSecOps context.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 7 years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing deployment and release processes for complex systems.
• Certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Certification in Kubernetes or other relevant technologies is a plus.
