About the RoleIf you are adept at identifying, installing, and troubleshooting technical solutions, enjoy collaborating with multiple teams, and frequent international travel, we may have the perfect role for you! As a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to design, test, and implement our secure operating systems, networks, security monitoring, and tuning. You'll be responsible for the management of our IT security systems and applications, incident response, digital forensics, loss prevention, and eDiscovery actions, conducting risk and vulnerability assessments, and developing and implementing security controls. You'll research, evaluate, and recommend new security tools, techniques, and technologies in alignment with our IT security strategy and introduce them to the enterprise. Additionally, you will be responsible for cyber threat identification, evaluation, prioritization, and remediation activities under the direction of the Cyber Security Manager. You'll continuously review existing and proposed changes to Sierra Space systems, networks, and software designs, and is responsible for analyzing logging and alerting data, and identifying and escalating potential security events.

Learn more about Sierra Space's Corporate team Must Haves: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering discipline and typically 14 or more years of relevant experience Demonstrated experience supporting, troubleshooting, and administering a variety of networks, OSs, and applications Expert knowledge of data security administration principles, methods, and techniques Proficiency in administering a variety of current Microsoft platforms Advanced understanding of domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures Preferred: ISSM CAP, CISSP, or CISM Certification ISSE CAP, CISSP-ISSEP Certification ISSO Security+, CISA, or CASP+ Certification MCSE, Linux, and/or CCNP Security Certification Knowledge of DoD, government contracting and/or public auditing, policies, standards, and procedures Ability to read and interpret security and technical documentation Proven track record of maintaining the confidentiality of high-sensitivity projects and data. Sierra Space offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.

Estimated Starting Salary Range:$159,430.15 - $219,216.46
