Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking qualified "Senior Business Program Analyst" to join our team. Our program provides engineering support for Cyber Situational Awareness (SA), Cyber Command and Control (C2), Mission Assurance, and Homeland Defense in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

 

This includes conducting Agile software engineering in a Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) environment, performing Cloud architectural design, operation, and administration functions, and cyber security and Risk Management Framework (RMF) support. Also included are rapid design, development, test, deployment, maintenance and operation of specific software and hardware capabilities to meet current Cyber Defensive needs.

 

As our Senior Business Program Analyst, you will have the opportunity to assist our Program Manager in the following areas:

  • Provides administrative and operational support to line management in a variety of functional areas, which will include finance, proposals, pricing, contracting, human resources, etc.
  • Participate, subject to Government review and control, in all related meetings and forums to include, but not limited to weekly and monthly contract representative meetings.
  • Track and assist team members with all relevant training and requirements and further report them to the Government when they are completed.
  • Will assist with specifying cost and financing issues based on reviews of engineering concepts and requirements and designs, and in integrating the multiple economic and financial analysis tasks and activities involved in engineering projects.
  • May provide input to help generate quotes on standard products and custom work as required, coordinates quote follow-up activities with customers and product managers. Provides input to help reconcile purchase orders with quotes, including payment terms, delivery schedule, etc.
  • Works with customers as a sales point-of-contact from receipt of PO through delivery of products and services.
  • Coordinates service/product deliveries, to include PO travelers, daily delivery activities, domestic and export/import documentation, service and product invoicing, warranty status, etc.
  • Coordinates with Peraton Program Manager, Contract Manager, and Financial Manager on all related tasks and responsibilities supporting the Cyber Situational Awareness (SA), Cyber Command and Control (C2), Mission Assurance, and Homeland Defense.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA
    • Four years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
  • The Senior-level expert requirements include at a minimum:
    • Must have four years of working as a Senior Business Program Analyst on DoD programs.
    • Must have experience and knowledge of the Department of the Navy (DON) Cyberspace Workforce (CWF) qualifications as outlined in the Department of Defense (DOD) Directive 8140.
    • Must have subject matter expertise of contract management, financial reporting, and official documentation management.
  • Possess executive writing, editing, and briefing skills and experience with word, excel, and project.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and effectively in a dynamic team environment. 
  • Be able to travel in support of Navy missions as needed.
  • U.S Citizenship required
  • On-site work at Dam Neck Naval facility in Virginia Beach, VA is required.
  • Active Secret Clearance 

Preferred

 

  • 15+ years of US DoD experience
  • PMP certification

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
