Tasks
- Assign remediation tasks and follow up
- Benchmark remediation performance against industry standards
- Conduct root cause analysis on recurring vulnerabilities
- Coordinate with audit compliance and legal teams
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for remediation
- Create risk models and quantify business impact
- Develop and maintain vulnerability management policies and procedures
- Develop remediation dashboards and metrics
- Develop training materials for remediation best practices
- Evaluate and optimize patch management processes
- Facilitate patch status meetings and reporting
- Lead post-remediation reviews
- Lead vulnerability analysis and prioritization
- Monitor asset vulnerabilities including end of life software and hardware
- Oversee patch management lifecycle
- Prepare executive level compliance reporting
- Provide stakeholder point of contact for remediation status
- Research and recommend new vulnerability management tools and methods
- Research and validate vendor patches
- Resolve false positives in vulnerability scans
- Track vulnerability and remediation status
